Traffic and earnings report of my blogs - November 2011

Here are the details of traffic to my three other blogs and the earnings report for them last month.

Traffic Report

The combined earnings from these 3 blogs for the last month was:

$15.33

The revenue was earned from Google AdSense ads and affiliate commissions.

Detailed Earnings Report

So we have a trend here – just like last month, the earnings from each blog are currently quite low to provide a blog-wise break up for the earnings report. As soon as the combined earning from these 3 blogs achieves a respectable amount (which is something I intend to achieve by January 2012), I would also provide a blog wise earnings breakup in my earnings report.

Analysis of the current month

Like I said last month, I have outsourced some of the content creation work for the Cruise blog (through oDesk), and I was hoping to post quite frequently there. I had also finalized outsourcing for the New York blog, and I was hoping to publish frequently there as well.

But as you can see, that has not happened. Although I have a lot of content ready for these two sites, I devoted most of my time to my other money making sites (mostly Amazon affiliate sites) because of the Holiday / Christmas season – basically, like any other internet marketer, I focused on these other sites to earn as much commission as I could!

I suspect that the same theme would play out in December 2011 as well, although I would also try to publish posts on these blogs intermittently.

The slowdown in posting has had a negative impact on the New York and SEO blogs, whereas the traffic to the Cruise  blog has increased significantly this month. I believe that all the posts published by me in the past few months are now pulling in more traffic through search engines.

This has had a good impact on the earnings report as well – my earnings have increased by about 73% if you compare the earnings report of this month with the earnings report from October 2011. Bottom line: I am not complaining!

As usual, I expect to get more incremental, long-term traffic from the posts I have published resulting in more revenue in the future.

Plan for the next month

Since I already have a lot of content ready for the Cruise and New York blogs, I would focus more on these blogs. However, as I have said, my primary focus would remain on my other affiliate blogs due to the holiday season.

We’ll see how it turns out when we get to see the December 2011 earnings report!
