Traffic and earnings report of my blogs - February 2012

Here are the details of traffic to my three other blogs and the earnings report for them last month.

Traffic Report

The combined earnings from these 3 blogs for the last month was:

$88.52

The revenue was earned from Google AdSense ads and affiliate commissions.

Detailed Earnings Report

As has been the trend for the last few months, we are still on the low income stage for these blogs – the earnings from each blog are currently very low to provide a blog-wise break up for the earnings report. When the combined earning from these three blogs achieves a respectable amount (which should be achieved by Dec 2012), I would also provide an earnings breakup in my earnings report for each blog.

Analysis of the current month

As you can see from the number of posts published, I have not been able to remain very active on these blogs. In spite of that, there is good news.

February 2012 has shown good growth – both in visitor traffic and in the earnings report. The traffic to the New York blog has almost doubled with a much higher base, the traffic to the SEO blog has remained more or less the same, and the traffic for the Cruise blog has almost halved.

The earnings have seen a good jump – if you compare the earnings report with the earning report from last month, you would see that the earnings have increased by about 60%! And this is on top of the increase of almost 200% between November 2011 and January 2012 – so the positive trend has continued.

My analysis is that the NY blog is picking up a lot of traffic now due to its quality articles, and this has been reflected in the earnings as well. It is good to note that with the increase in traffic, the affiliate income from it is also increasing.

Plan for the next month

Like you know, I have outsourced some of the content creation for the New York and the Cruise blogs through oDesk, and I already have a lot of content ready for these blogs. In March 2012, I hope to accelerate the pace of publishing posts. I do not expect much action on the SEO blog for March 2012.
